Planning Board

The Planning Board consists of seven Minnesott Beach residents appointed by the Town Council. The Planning Board advises the Board of Commissioners on matters relating to land use. This function allows them to have a major role in shaping and controlling the growth of our town. The Board of Commissioners, for continuity purposes, needs a ready list of town citizens who would be willing to serve the town in this capacity. If you are willing to serve the town by volunteering your time and effort as a member of the Planning Board, please contact any Board of Commissioners member or the Planning Board Chairman or simply call town hall. Your name will be considered when future Planning Board appointments are necessary. The Planning Board meets the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm at town hall when needed. Town citizens are encouraged to attend.
